Why does my father walk around freely in a gimp suit?

It's been a growing problem since i caught my father walking around the house freely in a gimp suit when i was only 7. I have tried speaking to him out of curiosity, but he won't communicate with me about it, so i ask you all PLEASE HELP!!!! TELL ME WHY MY FATHER WALKS AROUND FREELY IN A GIMP SUIT????
