Whats the easiest way to watermark animated gifs?

There's no need to do that. Just duplicate the watermark layer for each layer (or frame) of your animation. Move the watermark layers in between each layer of your animation. Click on the first watermark layer to select it, click Layer > Merge down. Repeat for each watermark layer.
